The free airport shuttle service is provided free of charge for all hotel guests in any room category for any length of stay. This is a shared service that operates daily between the hours of 7am and 11pm. The average transfer time is 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. This service is not available outside of the regular working hours. Guests arriving/departing before or after 8am and 11pm will be required to make their own way to and from the airport at their own expense. Please note the following information carefully.
Please provide flight details for each guest at time of booking by contacting our Reservations office at office at Tel: 246-427-1655 Ext. 2319/2310 or Email: [email protected] The minimum notice for flight details is 24 hour before scheduled arrival. If flight details are not provided by email to the Reservations office 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival time then no airport transfer to the hotel will be provided and guests will be required to make their way to the hotel at their own expense. Coconut Court Beach Hotel will not reimburse guests for transfers that have not been scheduled and/or confirmed in advance.
ARRIVALS AT THE AIRPORT
The airport shuttle service operates between 7am and 11pm daily. No free airport shuttle service is available outside of these regular working hours. Guests arriving/departing before or after 7am and 11pm will be required to make their own way to and from the airport at their own expense. The hotel will not provide or pay for transportation to/from the airport outside of regular working hours of 7am to 11pm.
This is a shared service and guests may be required to wait for other passengers. In consideration of other guests, the hotel shuttle driver will wait for a maximum of one (1) hour after a scheduled flight has landed at Grantley Adams international airport. Guests delayed inside the airport for more than one hour due to immigration, baggage claim or customs delays will be required to make their own way to the hotel at their own expense. Coconut Court Beach Hotel will not reimburse guests for private transportation in the case of delayed airport immigration/customs clearance.
Maximum baggage allowance of one (1) suitcases and one (1) carryon bag per person. Additional fees will apply for excess luggage and sporting equipment if it cannot be carried at the same time in the van. Coconut Court Beach Hotel reserves the right to decline transportation of excess items. All baggage must be clearly labelled with the owner’s name.
CHILD SAFETY SEATS
Child safety seats are not provided for infants and small children. If no child seat is available, children of three years of age and over may travel as long as they wear an adult seat belt. Children under three years of age may be transported without a safety restraint as long as they travel in the rear of the shuttle van.
DEPARTURES FROM THE HOTEL
There are four scheduled departure times from the hotel to the airport everyday: 10am, 2pm and 5:30pm. Guests will be required to reserve their seat(s) at the Front Desk 24 hours in advance and seat(s) will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis. If the desired shuttle departure time is full, then guests will be required to reserve seat(s) on an alternate shuttle departure time. Additional private transportation will not be provided by the Hotel and guests will be required to make their own way to the airport at their own expense. Passengers are required to be ready, and waiting in the Hotel lobby 15 minutes before their scheduled pick-up time. The shuttle service leaves promptly and will not wait for guests that are late.
The safety of our guests is our highest priority. In order to maintain a safe and comfortable driving environment, our driver has the right to deny any person who, in the driver’s judgment, is unruly, disruptive or poses a threat to the safety of the vehicle or anyone on board.
Passengers are responsible for their personal possessions. We try our best to return items left in our vehicle to their owners, but we assume no liability for lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced items. Any charges incurred in returning a left-behind item to its owner must be paid for by the owner. Many bags look alike. Our driver cannot be responsible for remembering which bags belong to each passenger. Upon reaching the hotel/airport, please check to see that you have retrieved all your belongings, and that each bag, computer etc. is, indeed, yours. Small items that are left in our vehicles most often are cell phones, cameras, small bags, and sunglasses.
Tipping is allowed and is much appreciated by our driver(s).
We consider travel insurance and “supplier failure” insurance to be essential and strongly advise our guests to arrange for appropriate travel insurance to cover a comprehensive range of events including cancellation, baggage loss, accidents and health issues whilst travelling. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover purchased is suitable and adequate for your particular needs. We strongly advise you to read the policy details carefully and to take them with you on your holiday.
