BARBADOS ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR FULLY VACCINATED TRAVELLERS: Your final dose of the vaccine must be taken at least 14 days prior to travel to qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller. Effective 24th October, 2021, fully vaccinated travellers to Barbados with a valid negative pre-flight COVID-19 PCR test result will not be required to take a COVID-19 test or qurantine on arrival in the island. On arrival, proof of vaccination (vaccine certificate written in English) and proof of negative pre-travel PCR test result will be required. Children under the age of 18 with vaccinated parents follow the same protocols. 


BARBADOS ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-VACCINATED TRAVELLERS: You are required to take a PCR test no more than 3 days before your flight. On arrival, proof of negative pre-travel PCR test result will be required. Unvaccinated travellers must then have a PCR test completed, 5 days after arrival (private hassle-free testing available onsite at the hotel). While waiting for those test results, you will be required to remain in your hotel room. Meals will be delivered from Cocos Beachside Restaurant and Jakes Island Grille (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner) or you can order delivery from other local restaurants. The hotel gift shop is stocked with snacks, liquor and wines, toiletries and some grocery items and we are also happy to deliver these to your hotel room. 


CHILDREN UNDER 18: Children under 18 years, travelling with fully vaccinated guardians will be allowed to adhere to the same guidelines as their fully vaccinated guardians.


FAMILIES/GROUPS COMPRISING OF VACCINATED AND UNVACCINATED TRAVELLERS: If a fully vaccinated adult traveller is travelling with an unvaccinated adult traveller, 18 years and older, and they choose not to be separated, then the rules applied to the unvaccinated traveller, will also apply to the vaccinated traveller.


APPROVED TAXI SERVICE: Coconut Court works with a small number of reliable, and professional drivers that have completed the Barbados government Covid-19 health and safety training course. HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS:  A physical distance of 2 meters should always be observed. All guests are required to wear face coverings in public areas where physical distance is not possible. Please wash and sanitize your hands regularly. Please check your temperature daily. Our staff will be sanitizing and cleaning all areas of the hotel throughout the day.  


HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE: In accordance with Ministry of Health protocols, no housekeeping service will be provided to quarantine guest rooms. Should you require any ancillary services during this time, please contact the Front Desk (please dial 0). All other hoel guest rooms will receive daily housekeeping service. 


AMENITIES AND SERVICES AROUND THE HOTEL: Please note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we remain committed to offering you the very best beach holiday in Barbados. Cocos Beachside Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner service daily, Jake's Island Grille is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner (Tuesdays to Sundays) and Captain Charlie's Beach Bar is open daily (weather permitting) from 10am to 7pm.  There are limited entertainment activities scheduled until further notice. We thank you for understanding our current situation.



We want you to know that, at Coconut Court Beach Hotel we take the health and safety of our guests and staff seriously so while you are away, we have been working tirelessly to implement extensive new health and safety protocols to our operation. Some of our new protocols include: Temperature Checks: All staff will receive temperature and symptom checks before the start of each shift. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All staff will wear cloth face masks and other PPE as required while on duty.  Cleaning & Sanitizing Protocols: Throughout the property, enhanced cleaning and sanitizing processes will be conducted with approved multi surface cleaners, disinfectants and equipment. Team members have been trained on the proper use of these chemicals and equipment to ensure effective cleaning. These protocols will include: Guest Rooms: The use of stringent cleaning protocols using hospital-grade disinfectants, and deep cleaning methods to clean rooms post departure, pre-arrival, and during stays, with particular attention paid to high-touch items. Public Areas: Sanitizer stations are strategically located throughout the hotel. There will be increased cleaning and sanitizing of high contact items within public areas, for example, credit card machines, lounge chairs and restaurant furnishings. Areas such as the public bathrooms, and high-touch surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized on a scheduled basis throughout the day. Non-Guest Areas: Increased cleaning and sanitization of staff lunch rooms, staff bathrooms and administrative offices. etc.  Safety Signage: Signs will be prominently displayed throughout the property, to sensitize guests and team members on the health and safety best practices. COVID-19 Training: For over 45 years, Coconut Court Beach Hotel, has been practicing the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for both our guests and our employees. Everyday our guests can see our team hard at work around the hotel sweeping, cleaning and sanitizing. Additionally, our team members have received training on the new COVID-19 cleaning and safety protocols and standards. This training program will be ongoing as we work hard to ensure that our guests can relax, confidently knowing that we've got their safety and well-being at heart.
