COCONUT COURT ~ WE ARE AN APPROVED SATELLITE HOTEL: All guests arriving from medium and high risk countries are required to remain on hotel premises until a 2nd negative Covid-19 test result has been received. Please see important information below regarding these saftey protocols. Please kindly note that all guests will be required to adhere to these mandatory safety protocols while staying with us. COVID-19 DISCLAIMER: The following indemnifying statement is part of all guests' reservation contract with Coconut Court Beach Hotel. I acknowledge that Covid-19 is a highly contagious disease and can result in serious illness, injury and death and I accept that there is an inherent risk of exposure to Covid-19 anywhere people are, or have been present. I further agree that I will release, indemnify and hold harmless Coconut Court Beach Hotel, and it's respective parent corporations, affiliates, subsidiaries, insurers, representatives, against any claims and/or damages whatsoever, including legal fees relating to any infection, transmission, health condition influenced, impacted or complicated by Covid-19 disease.
WRIST BAND IDENTIFICATION: All arriving passengers at Grantley Adams International airport will receive a red wrist band. This red wrist band should not be tampered with or removed at any time. It will be removed by a member of the Front Desk team upon official receipt of a 2nd negative test result.
DURING YOUR STAY WITH US: For your safety and those around you, you must abide by all Covid-19 health protocols, including physical distancing, hygiene practices, wearing of face masks and all other relevant measures. Our staff will be sanitizing and cleaning all areas of the hotel throughout the day. Please report any Covid-19 symptoms to hotel management.
ACCOMODATION & HOUSEKEEPING: You will be accommodated in Ocean View Room until your 2nd negative test result has been received. Thereafter, if you are staying on with us for your holiday, you will be relocated into an Ocean Front Room in another building of the hotel. Please note that there will be no housekeeping service until your official 2nd negative test result has been received. Please contact the Front Desk if you require any assistance or additional amenities.
TESTING OPTION #1: You will be retested 4-5 days after your first accepted negative test. Test privately onsite at Coconut Court with our approved medical service provider. Available daily at 10am at cost of US$200 per person (tests are included for those guests that have booked our Breakfast and Test Packages). Results will be back in 24 hours or less and you will be notified of your results by a member of the Front Desk team. Please bring your first test results, and passport to the Front Desk for test to be administered the following day. We highly recommend that you choose the private onsite testing option as previous guests have experienced some delays getting their test results back from the government clinic.
TESTING OPTION #2: You will be retested 4-5 days after your first accepted negative test. Test at approved government facilities. The government test is free of cost. You will be required to contact the Covid-19 hotline to book your appointment and to obtain your test results. Please take along proof of first negative test result, and your passport to the government facility. Transportation costs average BB$100-BB$150 round trip for two (2) persons. Please note that due to the varied and sometimes delayed return of results, you will not be checked-out of your hotel room until the Front Desk has received a copy of your second negative test result.
OFFSITE TESTING: If you have pre-booked a test with another provider or local doctor, please arrange for approved transportation to have your test administered at their offiste office/facility. Please note that Coconut Court Beach Hotel onsite testing is provided by Urgent Care Mobile and no other providers will be permitted to administer tests in guest rooms or on the hotel premises.
EARLY CHECK-OUT: Please note that Barbados has no last-minute walk-in business that would allow rooms to be resold so as a small, family owned business we are unable to refund any unused nights.
GUESTS (RESTRICTED MOVEMENT): You are not permitted to leave the hotel property before the 2ndCOVID-19 test, and you will have limited access to areas on the property. Breakfast will be served at Cocos Beachside Restaurant btween 8:30-10am only. Lunch will be served on the pool deck or at Cocos between 12noon and 4pm. While you will not have access to the beach just yet, or be able to have family and friends visit, you can relax and enjoy the hotel swimming pool and pool deck areas. You can also visit the activities desk, the hotel lobby and gift shop, but we ask that you please do so briefly and only when necessary. Please do not tamper or remove your wrist band at any time. It will be removed by a member of the Front Desk team upon official receipt of your 2nd negative test result.
GUESTS (2nd TEST): You must present official proof of 2nd negative test result to the Front Desk. A photocopy will be made and kept on file. Your wrist band will be removed, and you will be free to relax on the beach or to leave the hotel to enjoy tours and other local excursions. Breakfast will be served at Cocos Beachside Restaurant between 7-8:15am. Lunch will be served at Captain Charlies Beach Bar. You can also visit the Activities Desk, the hotel lobby and gift shop. You will be prohibited from using the swimming pool or pool deck areas but our beautiful beach and island are entirely yours to enjoy.
AMENITIES AND SERVICES AROUND THE HOTEL: Please note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been experiencing unprecedented challenges while we have been closed for the past five months. As a result, while we remain committed to offering you the very best beach holiday in Barbados, we have had no choice but to scale back our services, amenities, and entertainment activities at this time. We thank you for understanding our current situation.
COCOS BEACHSIDE RESTAURANT: open daily for breakfast and lunch. The kitchen closes daily at 6pm. Please see segmented times for breakfast. Lunch at Cocos will be served for restricted movement guests only.
CAPTAIN CHARLIES BEACH BAR: open daily for lunch and cocktails. Closing daily at 6pm. Lunch will be served for 2nd test guests only.
JAKE’S ISLAND GRILLE: open daily from 5pm to midnight for dinner and cocktails. Full dine-in service, and lounge available for 2nd test guests only. Room service is provided for restricted movement guests and other guests that prefer room service. Please see menu card in your guest room or contact the Front Desk to make your table reservation.
CONCIERGE/ACTIVITIES DESK: Our Concierge, Vaida Blades, is available to assist you Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 12 noon. Vai can assist you with information about car rentals, tours, sailing trips etc.
COCO EXPRESS GIFT SHOP: The hotel gift shop located in the lobby will be open 10am-2pm Monday to Saturday. It will be closed on Sundays. Please stop by to pick up essentials, resort wear, flip flops, sun cream, snacks, wine & spirits.
BELLMAN SERVICES: We have limited bellman services available at this time. Please contact the Front Desk for assistance.
UPDATED TRAVEL PROTOCOLS (Effective 01-October-2020)
All persons will be required to fill out an online Embarkation Debarkation Card (ED Card)
The ED card will include a short health questionnaire & upload a negative results COVID test
The ED card is available to be completed before travelling online at www.travelform.gov.bb
Barbados health officials will board the aircraft on arrival at Grantley Adams Airport
Proof of certified PCR negative test result will be required before persons may disembark
A negative PCR test result must be presented to the Barbados officials
**Very important** the test result must be taken and dated within 72 hours of arrival
Persons without a valid PCR test result may be denied entry into Barbados
Persons will be required to go directly to Coconut Court Beach Hotel
The second test will be administered 4-5 days after the date of the first test
This can be as little as two days after arrival in Barbados
Guests will be required to further self-monitor (twice daily temp. checks) for maximum of 14 days
After the 2nd negative test result, guests can leave the hotel premises and enjoy the island
In the near future persons will be asked to use the BIM Safe app for contact tracing
