Coconut Court Beach Hotel is an independent, locally owned hotel and is not affiliated with any other hotel or hotel group. It has been owned and operated by the Blades family since 1975.  At Coconut Court we strive to maintain consistently high service standards within beautiful, clean and safe surroundings.

NEW COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

At Coconut Court Beach Hotel, we have long been aware of the importance of cleanliness and safety for both our loyal guests and our valued team members. Our new Covid-19 safety protocols are being developed within Centre of Disease Control guidelines and World Health Organization recommendations. Every aspect of our operation is being revisited and revised to ensure that our guests can enjoy their holiday with peace of mind, from arrival to departure. We will be launching new initiatives using hospital-grade disinfectants, and deep cleaning methods to sanitize our guest rooms for each arrival. Additionally, our team members will not enter a guest room when a guest is present. Advanced hygiene practices will be implemented in all public areas of the hotel with particular emphasis being given to all hard surfaces. New social distance guidelines will be introduced and adhered to in our hotel lobby, activities lounge, restaurants, bars, and beach areas. Restaurant tables will be spaced two meters apart and our popular breakfast buffet will be replaced with a made-to-order service. Restaurant tables and menus will be cleaned and disinfected after each use and will be marked as sanitized. All meals and drinks will be safely served by a social-distanced server. Our team members will be required to wear masks while on duty and have temperature checks before beginning work each day. We are also working to implement new technology that will allow our guests to do advanced check-in prior to arrival to minimise contact with our team members at the Front Desk. It is our hope that with the implementation of these new health and safety protocols our guests can enjoy their holiday with confidence and peace of mind. 

CASHLESS HOTEL 

Effective June 1st, 2020 no cash will be accepted at the Front Desk or restaurant and bar facilities. Our guests can easily manage their accounts by signing charges to their guest room or paying by credit card. We are not able to make change at the hotel. Major credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) are accepted. An ATM machine is located nearby the hotel premises, if needed. 

ROOM RATES 

Room rates are in US dollars and are subject to 10% Value Added Tax (VAT) 

Room rates are subject to an additional Mandatory Room Levy of US$9.65 per room, per night 

Room rates are per room, per night based on one or two persons sharing the room 

Extra fees apply for additional guests sharing the room aged 13 years or older 

Staff gratuities are not included and are at guest discretion  

Charges made by overseas credit cards are taken in US dollars 

Local Credit cards are taken in BB dollars at the prevailing rate of exchange

MEAL PACKAGES  

Coconut Court Beach Hotel is not an all-inclusive resort. However, we do however have outstanding dining options including Full Hot Breakfast, Half Board, and Full Board meal packages. Please note that meal package prices are only valid when purchased in advance. Prices are per adult and per child per day, infants are free. Meal packages must be added to all guests on your booking and for the full duration of your stay. Please see further information about the meal packages that we offer on this website. 

 

CHILD POLICY 

One child aged 4-12 years is free when sharing a room with one or two adults  

Infants are free and a cot will be supplied in the room at no extra cost  

Additional mandatory supplement for all children aged 4-12 years on 31-December 

Guests aged 13 years of age and older are classified as adults and are subject to extra fees 

 

MANDATORY ROOM LEVY 

The government of Barbados require payment of a Mandatory Room Levy of US$9.65 per room, per night. This additional charge is payable in full by the guest on arrival at the hotel either in cash or by credit card (Visa or MasterCard only).  

 

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT LEVY 

There is a 2.5% Product Development Levy on Direct Tourism Services. This applies to our Food and Beverage Operations (Cocos, Jake’s & Captain Charlie’s) and will be added to each guest check. This levy is also applicable for Meal packages and it will be added to guest folio account. These mandatory Levies are not included in the room rates. 

 

DEPOSITS

We require a valid credit card (international debit cards are not accepted) in order to guarantee and confirm your booking. Stays from 15-December to 15-April require a three (3) night deposit. Stays from 16-April to 14-December require a one (1) night deposit. Deposits will be charged at the time of booking.  

 

PAYMENT METHODS 

For prepaid reservations, guests need to pay in advance either by a valid credit card or by bank transfer. Please note that if the payment is done with a credit card belonging to another person who won’t be present at the hotel, we will need a written authorization send by the credit card holder with a copy of his credit card and a copy of his ID.  The hotel reserves all rights to refuse the access of the room to any guests who are not able to show us the credit card he used for his prepaid reservation or if we did not receive the authorization before his arrival. For non-prepaid reservations, upon arrival, please settle your account by paying with a credit card only. Coconut Court Beach Hotel accepts Visa, MasterCard.  Effective June 1st, 2020 no cash will be accepted at the Front Desk or restaurant and bar facilities. Coconut Court Beach Hotel is a cashless hotel. 

 

CHECK IN 

Hotel check-in time is any time after 4pm local time. In the interests of security and the prevention of fraud, we will ask you to confirm your identity by providing your passport upon check-in. Guests will be required to present a credit card on arrival at the hotel. Should you need to confirm an earlier arrival time than the hotel standard check-in time, please contact the hotel directly in advance. If you plan to arrive earlier that the hotel’s check-in time and to want to be sure you will get your room, then we suggest you to booked also the night before. 

 

CHECK OUT 

Check-out time is 11am local time. If you require a later check-out, please contact the Front Desk before 11am on the day of departure and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We cannot guarantee that it will be possible. A charge may be applied depending on availability. Any delay to checked-out will result an extra night being added to the final bill. A complimentary hospitality room is available for guests requiring shower and changing facilities after check-out. Please reserve a time slot for this service at Front Desk before 11am on the day of departure. 

 

FREE AIRPORT TRANSFERS  

Please note that this particular service may not be available due to restricitive Covid-19 protocols.Complimentary roundtrip airport transfers are provided for all hotel guests. Please contact the Reservations office with flight details at least 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival. Please see further information about this Free service on this website.  

 

FREE HOT BREAKFAST DAILY  

Free hot breakfast is provided daily to hotel guests that book directly with Coconut Court Beach Hotel. (Email, website or telephone). Maximum of two adults and one child aged 12 years and under per room. Free breakfast features cooked-to-order eggs, omletes, bacon, sausages, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit , coffee, tea and more.

 

WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS 

Complimentary wireless internet service is available in all guest rooms and throughout the hotel public areas. The Deluxe Ocean Front Rooms are equipped with Smart TV’s to stream movies from personal devices. Two hard-wired computers with printers are also provided in the hotel lobby. Please ask the Front Desk for login and password. 

 

FREE SHOPPING SHUTTLE SERVICE 

Please note that this particular service may not be available due to restricitive Covid-19 protocols.The hotel provides a Free shopping shuttle service from the hotel to Bridgetown for hotel guests. Seats are limited and this is a first come-first serve basis. Guests will be required to reserve seat(s) with the Front Desk and will be required to make their own way back to the hotel at their own expense. 

 

WELCOME BOTTLE OF PIRATE PUNCH 

The hotel provides one Free bottle of Pirate Punch in each guest room on arrival.  

 

GUEST HOSPITALITY ROOM 

A Free air conditioned hospitality room is provided for guests that would like to shower and get ready for late flights home after check out. Guests are provided with towels and toiletries. Guests that would like to utilize this service are asked to reserve a time slot at the Front Desk. 

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We highly recommend all guests protect themselves from losses due to last minute cancellations or no-shows. Barbados has no last minute walk-in business that would allow rooms to be resold so as a small, family owned business we are unable to be flexible with policies. Cancellations, in some cases may incur a 100% penalty. Please read our policy carefully and consider contacting your insurance agent for travel insurance. Travel insurance options for your research: World Nomads, Allianz Travel Insurance, InsureMyTrip and Travelex.

MINIMUM NIGHT STAY

During peak periods, a minimum night stay of five (5) or seven (7) nights may be required. Our staff will confirm if there is a minimum night stay applicable for your preferred travel dates. 

 

CANCELLATION POLICIES

Winter Holidays from 15-December to 15-April: A three (3) night charge will be imposed for cancellations received within fourteen (14) days of scheduled arrival date.  A three (3) night charge will be imposed for any "No Shows" of a confirmed reservation.  Summer Holidays from 16-April to 14-December: A one (1) night charge will be imposed for cancellations received within seven (7) days of scheduled arrival date.  A one (1) night charge will be imposed for any "No Shows" of a confirmed reservation.  Extended Stays: A seven (7) night room rate charge will be imposed in cases of "No Shows" or cancellations received within twenty one (21) days of scheduled arrival date. Further details are with your booking. Please note, a cancellation is only confirmed on receipt of cancellation number. A cancellation must be confirmed in writing by sending an email to [email protected] A verbal cancellation is not final. 

 

EARLY CHECK OUT POLICY 

The full charge will be applied to any cancelled nights of a confirmed reservation. 

 

ACCOMMODATION DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION BY CREDIT CARD

In the event of a cancellation, any reservation payments made by credit card will incur a transaction fee reflecting bank charges incurred by the Hotel for card payments. Current fees are 5.0% of the transaction total for Visa and MasterCard. 

 

SECURITY DEPOSIT (CREDIT CARD) 

Guests are required to present a credit card at the time of arrival where a pre-authorization for a security deposit will be processed in the amount of US$50 per day. We do not accept cash. 

 

GROUP BOOKINGS  

All group reservations are subject to an extended cancellation policy, subject to the specific group size and dates reserved. An agreement of which will be made on confirmation of reservation. A rooming list is required to be sent to our reservations team [email protected] at least 14 days prior to arrival. Accommodation, food & beverage and other incidentals are subject to be settled as per contractual agreement, specific to the group. All charges not settled by the guests upon departure will be charged to the guaranteed credit card. 

 

BEACH TOWELS 

Beach towels are provided free of charge to all guests on arrival but are subject to a US$3.00 exchange fee thereafter. Beach towels can be collected from the Coco Express shop located in the hotel lobby. 

 

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT 

A guest must be aged 18 years and older to occupy a guest room alone. A valid photo ID must be presented at the time of check in for age verification. Guests must be 18 years of age to consume alcohol at any of the dining and bar outlets at Coconut Court Beach Hotel. 

 

REGISTERED GUESTS POLICY 

Please note that we only allow guests who are listed on the reservation access to the room. This policy is for the safety and security of all of our hotel guests. Should you wish to add any name(s), kindly inform the Front Desk in advance. 

 

NO SMOKING POLICY 

Smoking cigarettes and e-cigarettes is only permitted in limited designated areas. Smoking is not permitted in rooms, on balconies and patios or in public areas such as the restaurant, beach and beach bar. Smoking of cigars and pipes are not permitted anywhere on property. This policy aligns with our environmental practices and offers a healthy enovironment for all of our guests. Any guests found to be smoking in their guest room and/or room balcony will be charged a non-negotiable cleaning fee of US$500. 

 

IMPORTANT 

Coconut Court is not equipped with an elevator. As a result we cannot recommend our hotel for guests that require wheelchair assistance. Please request a low or high floor at time of booking based on your physical capabilities. We do not have bathtubs in any guest rooms. 

 

IMPORTANT 

The One & Two Bedroom Apartments are located on the landside of the hotel complex in our Annex, directly across the street from the main hotel buildings. These apartments do not have any views of the ocean; they are island view only. Please refer to the full amenities listed for each room type on this website.  

 

OUR ROOMS 

The images of our rooms and facilities on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Each part of Coconut Court Beach Hotel is slightly different and your room or the facilities you use during your stay may vary slightly from those images.  

 

GUEST REQUESTS  

Coconut Court Beach Hotel will make every effort to honour special requests (such as a specific floor or room number etc.) upon arrival. However the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance. Your reservation is for a particular type of room and, whilst we will try to accommodate specific room requests, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that you will be able to stay in a specific room during your stay. 

 

SEND A GIFT

To give an activity as a presnt to an arriving guest, or to send another type of gift to an arriving guest, such as a romantic dinner, flowers or wine, please contact our Reservations office team

 

VALUABLES 

We provide a safe in each room for the storage of personal items and all reasonable efforts are made to provide a secure hotel environment. Nevertheless, the risk of theft, damage or loss of our guests’ personal possessions cannot be eliminated entirely. If you travel with valuables, please use the safe in your guest room. Coconut Court Beach Hotel is not responsible for any lost or stolen items 

 

ACCIDENTS 

Guests must report any accident or injury they or their guests may have whilst on the hotel premises immediately to a member of management and in any event, within 24 hours of the incident. This information is needed in order to comply with health and safety obligations and for insurance purposes. 

 

INAPPROPIATE BEHAVIOUR 

We kindly ask that you respect our other guests and refrain from any improper, violent or abusive behaviour and any illegal conduct at all times during your stay. We reserve the right to eject you from the hotel premises and cancel the remainder of your stay in the event that you fail to respect this policy. 

 

DAMAGE 

We kindly ask that all guests respect Coconut Court Beach Hotel rooms and facilities. In the event that there is any damage to the room(s) during your stay or if any items are missing from your room(s) upon your departure, we reserve the right to charge the card you have used to secure your booking a reasonable fee in respect of such damage and/or missing items. 

 

NEW YEARS EVE DINNER & DANCE  

Every year, on December 31st, Coconut Court Beach Hotel hosts a gala event for all in-house guests. All in-house guests are invited to enjoy the evening complete with a sumptuous dinner buffet, complementary drinks, live entertainment and party favours from 7pm until 1am. Free drinks include house wine by the glass, rum punch, Carib beer, assorted house spirits, assorted sodas and juice. Drinks not included are bottled wine, sparkling wine, champagne, cocktails, premium liquors and mineral water. No gratuities are included (at guest discretion)
