HOTEL OWNERSHIP: Coconut Court Beach Hotel is a private, independent, locally owned hotel and is not affiliated with any other hotel or hotel group. It has been owned and operated by the Blades family since 1975. At Coconut Court Beach Hotel we strive to maintain consistently high service standards within beautiful, clean and safe surroundings.
HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION: Please make your reservation on this website or by calling our reservations office at +1 (246)-427-1655 extention #2319 or #2310 toll free UK 0808-238-0051 or toll free USA and Canada 1-888-506-0448. Our reservations office is open everyday between the hours of 9am to 5pm. We work hard to answer every call however, if we miss your call please send us an email and someone will contact you within 24 hours. ROOM RATES: All rates are per room, per night in US dollars and do not include 10% VAT tax or US$9.65 government room levy. Rates are for 1-2 person occupancy, with 1 child aged 12 years and under, free. Extra person fees apply for additional guests aged 13 years and older. *Please note that rates for Two Bedroom apartments and cottages are for 1-4 person occupancy, including children. Rates vary depending on the room category and season booked. Winter rates apply for stays between 15-December to 15-April and Summer rates apply for stays between 16-April to 14-December. Staff gratuities are not included in our rates and tipping is at our guests' discretion. All rates are subject to change.
DEPOSIT POLICY: A 30% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Deposits can be made via major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). Please, no cashiers cheques or money orders.
PAYMENT POLICY: We prefer that all reservations be paid for in full prior to arrival. For full payment please call our reservations office at +1 (246)-427-1655 Ext. 2319 or 2310. Alternately guests can complete a credit card authorisation form and return to us via email. If full payment is not received prior to arrival, we will not alter or cancel your reservation in any way and full payment will be due on check-in. Please note that the credit card used to make the booking and pay any deposits must be presented at the time of check-in with proof of ID (both photographic and signature). Coconut Court Beach Hotel accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Please note that all local transactions are completed in Barbados dollars. Charges to international credit cards will be done at the prevailing rate of exchange.
2021 CANCELLATION POLICY: Your deposit is refundable (less 5% credit card processing fee) up to 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival date. If your booking is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival then a one night penalty will be imposed. One night penalty will be imposed for any "no shows" of a confirmed reservation. All cancellations need to be in writing by emailing us at email@example.com. Please do not call the office for cancellations. Cancellation confirmations will only be sent via email and refunds via credit card will take about a week to post to your account. *Please note*: Some stay packages may have stricter cancellation policies, depending on the season or special offer that is booked. HOTEL AMENITIES AT A GLANCE: Our hotel is located directly on a gorgeous beach with a large sheltered lagoon for safe swimming and snorkelling year-round for guests of all ages. There are plenty of trees for natural shade, lots of free sun beds and guests will definitely enjoy a visit to our friendly, "happy place" Captain Charlie's Beach Bar, open daily weather permitting. The stretch of beach between us and the Hilton is home to hundreds of critically endangered Hawksbill turtles every summer when they return to nest and lay their eggs. We have a spacious sun deck with comfortable pool lounges, tables, chairs, umbrellas and a shaded gazebo area with sofas and chairs for relaxing with friends. Coco's is our open-air beachside restaurant and bar and there is also Jake's Island Grill. Both are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have free WiFi throughout the property. Our gift shop located in the lobby is open Monday to Saturday, and is fully stocked with resort wear, souvenirs, some grocery items, snacks, wine and spirits. Our front desk and security services opearte 24 hours a day for our guests' safety and convenience. Coconut Court does not have a gym, spa or laundry but all of these services are available nearby. Our activities desk is open Monday to Saturday for guests to book car rentals, island tours, catamaran cruises etc. There is entertainment provided several nights each week including live music, karaoke and movies on the beach. *Please note that all operating times and schedules are subject to change without notice.
GUEST ROOMS AT A GLANCE: Every hotel room has a private patio with either a stunning-full or partial-view of the beach and Caribbean Sea and are equipped with 1 king or 2 twin beds and a queen size sofa bed, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board, safe, and hairdryer. Our fully self-catering One and Two bedroom apartments and cottages are located in the Annex complex with garden views only with separate bedroom(s), kitchen and living room spaces. All apartments and cottages have patios and differ in size and decor. We are unable to place extra beds in any of our rooms, but we do provide free cots for infants. There is free WiFi throughout the hotel property, including our hotel rooms, apartments and cottages. All hotel rooms, apartments and cottages are non-smoking. There are limited outdoor smoking areas on the beach and pool deck. A US$500 fee will be charged to anyone with evidence of smoking in their room. We do not accept pets. We do try to enforce a quiet time from 10pm. For safety and security reasons, unregistered guests are not permitted in any rooms. We do not have an elevator at Coconut Court so please request high or low floor when you make your reservation. Please see the complete list of room types and room amenities on this website. HOTEL LOCATION: We are located directly on the beach on the south coast of Barbados. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Garrison Historic Area including the Barbados Museum, George Washington House and the Garrison Savannah horse race track are all within easy walking distance. The South Coast Boardwalk begins just two minutes down the beach from Coconut Court and there are several cafes, restaurants and bars nearby including Jake's, Mama Mia's, Buzo, Blakeys, Artsplash and Hastings Farmers Market, Tapas, Chill, and Baby Doll. The Marriott Courtyard Hotel is across the street from us and five minutes away you will find, the Radisson and the Hilton hotels. Lanterns shops including pharmacy, local boutiques and eateries is located 10 minute walk from us, Bridgetown is 10 minutes drive and the beautiful Carlisle Bay with five sunken ship wrecks is less than 10 minutes from our hotel. The lively St Lawrence Gap is 10 minute drive in the opposite direction from town.
DISTANCE FROM THE AIRPORT: Our hotel is located on the south coast about 10 miles from Grantley Adams International Airport. Drive time, depending on traffic varies between 15 to 30 minutes.
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION: We offer safe, reliable airport pick-up and drop-off service. Our airport meet and greet service is US$32.50 (flights before 10pm), US$40 (flights after 10pm and public holidays). Return trips to the airport from the hotel are priced at US$25. Please be sure to provide us with your flight details at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Rates are based on a maximum of 4 persons, with 1 suitcase and carry-on bag per person. Extra fees may apply for oversized items, or sporting equipment (US$5 per additional item). Our taxi is located on property and available to provide transportation services for our guests at competitive prices anytime, including the Bridgetown Port, supermarket, restaurants and other local points of interest.
COVID-19 DISCLAIMER: The following indemnifying statement is part of all guests' reservation contract with Coconut Court Beach Hotel. I acknowledge that Covid-19 is a highly contagious disease and can result in serious illness, injury and death and I accept that there is an inherent risk of exposure to Covid-19 anywhere people are, or have been present. I further agree that I will release, indemnify and hold harmless Coconut Court Beach Hotel, and it's respective parent corporations, affiliates, subsidiaries, insurers, representatives, against any claims and/or damages whatsoever, including legal fees relating to any infection, transmission, health condition influenced, impacted or complicated by Covid-19 disease.
OUR FLEXIBLE TRAVEL PROMISE: For all new bookings arriving between 15-December-2020 and 31-October-2021, the hotel will allow the option to rebook to an alternative stay within 12 months of scheduled arrival date with the existing rate being honoured (subject to rate changes if you choose a different season, and hotel availability). This policy will apply in the event that: 1) Any member of the booked party presents a positive Covid-19 test within 14 days of scheduled arrival. A copy of the positive test result will be required as proof. 2) Government imposed restrictions prevents guest from travelling. This includes the guests' government policies and Barbados government policies.
ADVANCED CHECK-IN: All guests are kindly requested to complete the Advanced Check-In form on the homepage of this website, prior to arrival. Please note that your passport number and payment method will be required to complete the check-in procedure upon arrival at the hotel. Registered guests please collect guest room key card(s) from the Front Desk also. Thank you very much for helping us to observe improved health and safety protocols.
NEW COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS: For your safety and those around you, guests must abide by all Covid-19 health protocols, including physical distancing, hygiene practices, wearing of face masks and all other relevant measures. Our staff will be sanitizing and cleaning all areas of the hotel throughout the day. Please remport any Covid-19 symptoms to hotel management. Please see our Covid-19 protocols on this website (under the Rooms menu tab) for further details regarding hotel protocols and testing options.
CASHLESS HOTEL: Cash is not accepted at any of our hotel restaurant and bar facilities. The Front Desk will continue to facilitate accomodation payments, security deposits and foreign currency exchange. Our guests can easily manage their accounts by signing charges to their guest room or paying by credit card. Major credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) are accepted. The closest ATM machines are located at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, and Lanterns Mall if needed.
HOLIDAY SUPPLEMENT: A mandatory extra fee applied to all in-house guests on 31-December. Dinner, house drinks with limited premium drinks, entertainment, & party favours provided for all guests
IMPORTANT NOTE: Dear Friends, we have always tried our best to offer thoughtful, convenient service and good value for money to all of our customers. For the past several years we have been providing free buffet breakfast, airport transfers, free shopping shuttle service to Bridgetown and a complimentary bottle of Pirate Punch in all guest rooms on arrival. Unfortunately, present times dictate that we make some neccessary changes to the way that we operate our business and sadly, we are no longer able to include free breakfast or these free services for our guests. That means that all room rates, unless otherwise stipulated are Room Only (no meals included). This policy will apply for all guests, whether booked directly or via a tour operator. We are truly sorry but we hope that everyone will understand and appreciate our reasons for making these changes.
MEAL PACKAGES: Coconut Court Beach Hotel is not an all-inclusive resort. However, we do have outstanding value dining options including Full Breakfast, Half Board, and Full Board meal packages. Guests that book the Half Board or Full Board meal packages will be able to dine-around at Cocos, Jake's and Charlie's. Please note that meal package prices are only valid when purchased in advance (up to 48 hours after arrival). Guests who book with a tour operator may add on a meal package of their choice directly with the hotel. Prices are per adult and per child (aged 4-12 years) per day, infants are free. Children aged 4-12 years receive reduced meal package rates. Meal packages must be added to all guests on your booking and for the full duration of your stay. Please call us or email us for prices.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT LEVY: An extra 2.5% Product Development Levy will be added to all guest checks at Cocos, Jake's and Captain Charlie's.This levy is also applicable for Meal packages and will be added to guest folio account. Supllements and levies are not included in room rates, meal packages or on our hotel restaurant and bar menus.
TOURISM FUND: Please note an optional donation to the Tourism Fund of Barbados will be applied to your account of US$1 per day which allows our guests to "give back" to the island in a direct and meaningful way. This donation is at the discretion of the guest and can be accepted or declined at check out. NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT POLICY: Please note that this rate plan is not currently available. If a guest has booked a non-refundable rate then full payment is required in order to secure your reservation, and this payment is non-refundable, non-modifiable and non-transferable. For guests that have booked via a third party travel agent or tour operator, please contact them directly to confirm their deposit policies.
EARLY CHECK-OUT POLICY: If a guest chooses to check-out from the hotel early, the refund will be based on the total stayed room nights plus 3 used nights. The balance of the reservation will be refunded to the guest, if the reservation was made directly with the hotel. If the booking was made via a third party then the refund will be processed through the tour operator. If a guest has made a non-refundable reservation, there will be no refund permitted for early check-outs.
WEATHER & TRAVEL DELAYS: In the event of official airline delays or cancellations for whatever reason that might result in guest arrival a day or more later than planned, Coconut Court Beah Hotel will offer a voucher for the value of the nights rate towards an extended or future stay. In the event of an official severe weather system warning issued for the island of Barbados resulting in closed airports or cancelled flights, Coconut Court Beach Hotel will waive the cancellation penalty and provide a voucher for the value of the full deposit paid towards a future stay. All vouchers for future stays are valid for one year from the original booking date. Guests are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance in place for such unexpected circumstances.
CHECK-IN: Hotel check-in time is any time after 4pm local time. In the interests of security and the prevention of fraud, we will ask you to confirm your identity by providing your passport upon check-in. Guests will be required to present a credit card on arrival at the hotel. Should you need to confirm an earlier arrival time than the hotel standard check-in time, please contact the hotel directly in advance. If you plan to arrive earlier that the hotel’s check-in time and to want to be sure you will get your room, then we suggest you to booked also the night before. All guests are kindly requested to complete the Advanced Check-In form on the homepage of this website, prior to arrival. GUEST INCIDENTAL & SECURITY DEPOSIT: All guests are required to present a credit card at the time of arrival where a pre-authorization for a security deposit will be processed in the amount of US$50 per day. This will activate signing privileges throughout the hotel. Please note that this deposit is mandatory and can be authorised either by credit card (preferred) or paid by cash. Any unused cash deposit amount will be refunded in Barbados dollars on departure. Cash is not accepted at any of the hotel restaurant and bar facilities. Guests will not be permitted to check-in to the hotel unless a credit card authorisation or cash security deposit is paid.
CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is 11am local time. If you require a later check-out, please contact the Front Desk before 11am on the day of departure and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We cannot guarantee that it will be possible. A charge may be applied depending on availability. Any delay to checked-out will result an extra night being added to the final bill. A complimentary hospitality room is available for guests requiring shower and changing facilities after check-out. Please reserve a time slot for this service at Front Desk before 11am on the day of departure.
WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS: Complimentary WiFi is available in all guest rooms and throughout the hotel public areas. The Deluxe Ocean Front Rooms are equipped with Smart TV’s to stream movies from personal devices. Please ask the Front Desk for login and password information.
GUEST HOSPITALITY ROOM: A Free air conditioned hospitality room is provided for guests that would like to shower and get ready for late flights home after check out. Guests are provided with towels and toiletries. Guests that would like to utilize this service are asked to reserve a time slot at the Front Desk.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend all guests protect themselves from losses due to last minute cancellations or no-shows. Barbados has no last minute walk-in business that would allow rooms to be resold so as a small, family owned business we are unable to be flexible with policies. Cancellations, in some cases may incur a 100% penalty. Please read our policy carefully and consider contacting your insurance agent for travel insurance. Travel insurance options for your research: World Nomads, Allianz Travel Insurance, InsureMyTrip and Travelex.
MINIMUM NIGHT STAY: Minimum stay of one (1) night. Longer minimum night stays maybe required for peak periods. Our staff will confirm if there is a minimum night stay applicable for your preferred travel dates.
GROUP BOOKINGS: All group reservations are subject to an extended cancellation policy, subject to the specific group size and dates reserved. An agreement of which will be made on confirmation of reservation. A rooming list is required to be sent to our reservations office at : firstname.lastname@example.org at least 14 days prior to arrival. Accommodation, food & beverage and other incidentals are subject to be settled as per contractual agreement, specific to the group. All charges not settled by the guests upon departure will be charged to the guaranteed credit card.
BEACH TOWELS: Beach towels are provided free of charge to all guests on arrival but are subject to a US$3.00 exchange fee thereafter. Beach towels can be exchanged in the Coco Express shop located in the hotel lobby. *Please note that this fee may change without notice.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: A guest must be aged 18 years and older to occupy a guest room alone. A valid photo ID must be presented at the time of check in for age verification. Guests must be 18 years of age to consume alcohol at any of the dining and bar outlets at Coconut Court Beach Hotel.
REGISTERED GUESTS POLICY: Please note that we only allow guests who are listed on the reservation access to the room. This policy is for the safety and security of all of our hotel guests. Should you wish to add any name(s), kindly inform the Front Desk in advance.
NO-SMOKING POLICY: Smoking cigarettes, e-cigarettes and vaping is only permitted in limited designated areas. Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms, on balconies and patios or in public areas such as the Cocos, Jake's or Captain Charlie's. Smoking of cigars and pipes are not permitted anywhere on property. This policy aligns with our environmental practices and offers a healthy environment for all of our guests. Any guests found to be smoking in their guest room and/or room balcony will be charged a non-negotiable cleaning fee of US$500.
IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER: Coconut Court is not equipped with an elevator and all of our guest rooms are accessed by stairs only. As a result we cannot recommend our hotel for guests that require wheelchair assistance. Please request a low or high floor at time of booking based on your physical capabilities. We do not have bathtubs in any guest rooms.
IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER: The One & Two Bedroom Apartments are located on the landside of the hotel complex in our Annex, directly across the street from the main hotel buildings. These apartments do not have any views of the ocean; they are island view only. Please refer to the full amenities listed for each room type on this website. These fully self-catering apartments are perfect for extended stays and we offer an extra 20% discount for stays of 28 days or longer. Guests staying in the Annex enjoy full use of hotel facilities including swimming pool, beautiful beach, free poola nd beach lounges, 24 hour front desk and security services. Please note that housekepeign service is provided once weekly in the Annex Apartments.

GUEST REQUESTS: Coconut Court Beach Hotel will make every effort to honour special requests (such as a specific floor or room number etc.) upon arrival. However the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance. Your reservation is for a particular type of room and, whilst we will try to accommodate specific room requests, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that you will be able to stay in a specific room during your stay.
SEND A GIFT: To give an activity as a present to an arriving guest, or to send another type of gift to an arriving guest, such as a romantic dinner, flowers or wine, please contact our Reservations office team and we will be happy to make all of the arrangments for you.
VALUABLES: We provide an electronic safe in each room for the storage of personal items and all reasonable efforts are made to provide a secure hotel environment. Nevertheless, the risk of theft, damage or loss of our guests’ personal possessions cannot be eliminated entirely. If you travel with valuables, please use the complimentary electronic safe in your guest room. Coconut Court Beach Hotel is not responsible for any lost or stolen items
ACCIDENTS: Guests must report any accident or injury they or their guests may have whilst on the hotel premises immediately to a member of management and in any event, within 24 hours of the incident. This information is needed in order to comply with health and safety obligations and for insurance purposes.
INAPPROPIATE BEHAVIOUR: We kindly ask that you respect our other guests and refrain from any improper, violent or abusive behaviour and any illegal conduct at all times during your stay. We reserve the right to eject you from the hotel premises and cancel the remainder of your stay in the event that you fail to respect this policy.
DAMAGE: We kindly ask that all guests respect Coconut Court Beach Hotel rooms and facilities. In the event that there is any damage to the room(s) during your stay or if any items are missing from your room(s) upon your departure, we reserve the right to charge the card you have used to secure your booking a reasonable fee in respect of such damage and/or missing items.
NEW YEARS EVE DINNER & DANCE: Every year, on December 31st, Coconut Court Beach Hotel hosts a gala event for all in-house guests. All in-house guests are invited to enjoy the evening complete with a sumptuous dinner, complementary drinks, live entertainment and party favours from 7pm until 1am. Free drinks include house wine by the glass, rum punch, beer, assorted house spirits, assorted sodas and juice. Drinks not included are bottled wine, sparkling wine, champagne, cocktails, premium liquors and mineral water. No gratuities are included (at guest discretion)
