OUR FLEXIBLE TRAVEL PROMISE
For all new bookings arriving between 15-December-2020 and 31-October-2021, the hotel will allow the option to rebook to an alternative stay within 12 months of scheduled arrival date with the existing rate being honoured (subject to rate changes if you choose a different season, and hotel availability). This policy will apply in the event that: 1) Any member of the booked party presents a positive Covid-19 test within 14 days of scheduled arrival. A copy of the positive test result will be required as proof. 2) Government imposed restrictions prevents guest from travelling. This includes the guests' government policies and Barbados government policies.
If you request a refund instead of a reservation change, the refund will be processed in 30 working days from the date of cancellation email. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

This year, due to the current protocols and restrictions in place, and to ensure that we all can enjoy our New Year's Eve dinner and dance toegther on December 31st, we will not be accepting any arrivals from overseas guests December 29th, 30th or 31st. PRIVATE AIRPORT TAXI SERVICE
Guests can reserve this service at time of booking. Our hotel driver Michael will meet you as you exit the arrivals hall at Grantley Adams International Airport. He will be holding a green "Coconut Court Beach Hotel" sign. You will be transported safely to Coconut Court Beach Hotel. The cost for this "meet and greet" service is US$33 per car, luggage (1 carry-on bag and 1 suitcase per person ~ excess bags and oversized items US$5 each extra) included (by 10pm) and US$40 per car, luggage included (after 10pm). Coconut Court Beach Hotel has fully trained and approved taxi drivers available onsite to care for all of our guests' transportation needs. From island tours to trips to the local supermarket, we offer reliabel and professional service at very competitive rates. We've got you covered! Please inquire at the front desk for service.
Cash is not accepted at any of our hotel restaurant and bar facilities. The Front Desk will continue to facilitate accomodation payments, security deposits and foreign currency exchange. Our guests can easily manage their accounts by signing charges to their guest room or paying by credit card. Major credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) are accepted. The closest ATM machines are located at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, and Lanterns Mall if needed.
For prepaid reservations, guests need to pay in advance either by a valid credit card or by bank transfer. Please note that the credit card used to make the booking and pay any deposits must be presented at the time of check-in with proof of ID (both photographic and signature).The hotel reserves all rights to refuse the access of the room to any guests who are not able to show us the credit card he used for his prepaid reservation or if we did not receive the authorization before his arrival. For non-prepaid reservations, upon arrival, please settle your account by paying with a credit card only. Coconut Court Beach Hotel accepts Visa, MasterCard. Please note that all local transactions are completed in Barbados dollars. Effective June 1st, 2020 cash will only be avialable at the Front Desk. Dear Friends, we have always tried our best to offer thoughtful, convenient service and good value for money to all of our customers. For the past several years we have been providing free buffet breakfast, airport transfers, free shopping shuttle service to Bridgetown and a complimentary bottle of Pirate Punch in all guest rooms on arrival. Unfortunately, present times dictate that we make some neccessary changes to the way that we operate our business and sadly, we are no longer able to include free breakfast or these free services for our guests. That means that all room rates, unless otherwise stipulated are Room Only (no meals included). This policy will apply for all guests, whether booked directly or via a tour operator. We are truly sorry but we hope that everyone will understand and appreciate our reasons for making these changes.
Coconut Court Beach Hotel is not an all-inclusive resort. However, we do have outstanding value dining options including Full Breakfast Breakfast, Half Board, and Full Board meal packages. Guests that book the Half Board or Full Board meal packages will be able to dine-around at Cocos Beachside Restaurant & Bar, Jakes Island Grille and Captain Charlie's Beach Bar. Please note that meal package prices are only valid when purchased in advance. Guests who book with a tour operator may add on a meal package of their chocie directly with the hotel. Prices are per adult and per child (aged 4-12 years) per day, infants are free. Children aged 4-12 years receive reduced meal package rates. MANDATORY ROOM LEVY
The government of Barbados require payment of a Mandatory Room Levy of US$9.65 per room, per night. This additional charge is payable in full by the guest on arrival at the hotel either in cash or by credit card (Visa or MasterCard only).
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT LEVY
There is a 2.5% Product Development Levy on Direct Tourism Services. This applies to our Food and Beverage Operations (Cocos, Jakes & Captain Charlie’s) and will be added to each guest check. This levy is also applicable for Meal packages and it will be added to guest folio account. These mandatory Levies are not included in the room rates.
Please note an optional donation to the Tourism Fund of Barbados will be applied to your account of US$1 per day which allows our guests to "give back" to the island in a direct and meaningful way. This donation is at the discretion of the guest and can be accepted or declined at check out. Extended Stays: Stays of 28 nights or longer save an extra 20% OFF inthe Annex One and Two Bedroom Apartments are subject to a 30% deposit to confirm your booking. Please contact a member of our team for further information.

NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT POLICY
Please note that this rate plan is not currently available. If a guest has booked a non-refundable rate then full payment is required in order to secure your reservation, and this payment is non-refundable, non-modifiable and non-transferable. For guests that have booked via a third party travel agent or tour operator, please contact them directly to confirm their deposit policies.
EARLY CHECK-OUT POLICY
If a guest chooses to check-out from the hotel early, the refund will be based on the total stayed room nights plus 3 used nights. The balance of the reservation will be refunded to the guest, if the reservation was made directly with the hotel. If the booking was made via a third party then the refund will be processed through the tour operator. If a guest has made a non-refundable reservation, there will be no refund permitted for early check-outs.
WEATHER & TRAVEL DELAYS
In the event of official airline delays or cancellations for whatever reason that might result in guest arrival a day or more later than planned, Coconut Court Beah Hotel will offer a voucher for the value of the nights rate towards an extended or future stay. In the event of an official severe weather system warning issued for the island of Barbados resulting in closed airports or cancelled flights, Coconut Court Beach Hotel will waive the cancellation penalty and provide a voucher for the value of the full deposit paid towards a future stay. All vouchers for future stays are valid for one year from the original booking date. Guests are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance in place for such unexpected circumstances.
Hotel check-in time is any time after 4pm local time. In the interests of security and the prevention of fraud, we will ask you to confirm your identity by providing your passport upon check-in. Guests will be required to present a credit card on arrival at the hotel. Should you need to confirm an earlier arrival time than the hotel standard check-in time, please contact the hotel directly in advance. If you plan to arrive earlier that the hotel’s check-in time and to want to be sure you will get your room, then we suggest you to booked also the night before. All guests are kindly requested to complete the Advanced Check-In form on the homepage of this website, prior to arrival. Check-out time is 11am local time. If you require a later check-out, please contact the Front Desk before 11am on the day of departure and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We cannot guarantee that it will be possible. A charge may be applied depending on availability. Any delay to checked-out will result an extra night being added to the final bill. A complimentary hospitality room is available for guests requiring shower and changing facilities after check-out. Please reserve a time slot for this service at Front Desk before 11am on the day of departure.
WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS
Complimentary wireless internet service is available in all guest rooms and throughout the hotel public areas. The Deluxe Ocean Front Rooms are equipped with Smart TV’s to stream movies from personal devices. Two hard-wired computers with printers are also provided in the hotel lobby. Please ask the Front Desk for login and password information.
GUEST HOSPITALITY ROOM
A Free air conditioned hospitality room is provided for guests that would like to shower and get ready for late flights home after check out. Guests are provided with towels and toiletries. Guests that would like to utilize this service are asked to reserve a time slot at the Front Desk.
We highly recommend all guests protect themselves from losses due to last minute cancellations or no-shows. Barbados has no last minute walk-in business that would allow rooms to be resold so as a small, family owned business we are unable to be flexible with policies. Cancellations, in some cases may incur a 100% penalty. Please read our policy carefully and consider contacting your insurance agent for travel insurance. Travel insurance options for your research: World Nomads, Allianz Travel Insurance, InsureMyTrip and Travelex.
MINIMUM NIGHT STAY
Minimum stay of four (4) nights from 21st, December 2020. Longer minimum night stays maybe required for peak periods. Our staff will confirm if there is a minimum night stay applicable for your preferred travel dates.
GUEST INCIDENTAL & SECURITY DEPOSIT
Guests are required to present a credit card at the time of arrival where a pre-authorization for a security deposit will be processed in the amount of US$50 per day. This will activate signing privileges throughout the hotel. Please note that this deposit is mandatory and can be authorised either by credit card (preferred) or paid by cash. Any unused cash deposit amount will be refunded in Barbados dollars on departure. Cash is not accepted at any of the hotel restaurant and bar facilities.
All group reservations are subject to an extended cancellation policy, subject to the specific group size and dates reserved. An agreement of which will be made on confirmation of reservation. A rooming list is required to be sent to our reservations team email@example.com at least 14 days prior to arrival. Accommodation, food & beverage and other incidentals are subject to be settled as per contractual agreement, specific to the group. All charges not settled by the guests upon departure will be charged to the guaranteed credit card.
Beach towels are provided free of charge to all guests on arrival but are subject to a US$3.00 exchange fee thereafter. Beach towels can be exchanged in the Coco Express shop located in the hotel lobby. *Please note that this fee may change without notice.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT
A guest must be aged 18 years and older to occupy a guest room alone. A valid photo ID must be presented at the time of check in for age verification. Guests must be 18 years of age to consume alcohol at any of the dining and bar outlets at Coconut Court Beach Hotel.
REGISTERED GUESTS POLICY
Please note that we only allow guests who are listed on the reservation access to the room. This policy is for the safety and security of all of our hotel guests. Should you wish to add any name(s), kindly inform the Front Desk in advance.
Smoking cigarettes and e-cigarettes is only permitted in limited designated areas. Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms, on balconies and patios or in public areas such as the Cocos, Jakes or Captain Charlie's. Smoking of cigars and pipes are not permitted anywhere on property. This policy aligns with our environmental practices and offers a healthy environment for all of our guests. Any guests found to be smoking in their guest room and/or room balcony will be charged a non-negotiable cleaning fee of US$500.
IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER
Coconut Court is not equipped with an elevator and all of our guest rooms are accessed by stairs only. As a result we cannot recommend our hotel for guests that require wheelchair assistance. Please request a low or high floor at time of booking based on your physical capabilities. We do not have bathtubs in any guest rooms.
IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER
The One & Two Bedroom Apartments are located on the landside of the hotel complex in our Annex, directly across the street from the main hotel buildings. These apartments do not have any views of the ocean; they are island view only. Please refer to the full amenities listed for each room type on this website. These fully self-catering apartments are perfect for extended stays and we offer steep discounts for stays of 28 days or longer. Guests staying in the Annex enjoy full use of hotel facilities including free beach lounges, 24 hour front desk and security services.

SEND A GIFT
To give an activity as a present to an arriving guest, or to send another type of gift to an arriving guest, such as a romantic dinner, flowers or wine, please contact our Reservations office team and we will be happy to make all of the arrangments for you.
We provide an electronic safe in each room for the storage of personal items and all reasonable efforts are made to provide a secure hotel environment. Nevertheless, the risk of theft, damage or loss of our guests’ personal possessions cannot be eliminated entirely. If you travel with valuables, please use the complimentary electronic safe in your guest room. Coconut Court Beach Hotel is not responsible for any lost or stolen items
Guests must report any accident or injury they or their guests may have whilst on the hotel premises immediately to a member of management and in any event, within 24 hours of the incident. This information is needed in order to comply with health and safety obligations and for insurance purposes.
We kindly ask that you respect our other guests and refrain from any improper, violent or abusive behaviour and any illegal conduct at all times during your stay. We reserve the right to eject you from the hotel premises and cancel the remainder of your stay in the event that you fail to respect this policy.

In the event that there is any damage to the room(s) during your stay or if any items are missing from your room(s) upon your departure, we reserve the right to charge the card you have used to secure your booking a reasonable fee in respect of such damage and/or missing items.
NEW YEARS EVE DINNER & DANCE
Every year, on December 31st, Coconut Court Beach Hotel hosts a gala event for all in-house guests. All in-house guests are invited to enjoy the evening complete with a sumptuous dinner, complementary drinks, live entertainment and party favours from 7pm until 1am. Free drinks include house wine by the glass, rum punch, beer, assorted house spirits, assorted sodas and juice. Drinks not included are bottled wine, sparkling wine, champagne, cocktails, premium liquors and mineral water. No gratuities are included (at guest discretion)
